Meet Tim, 2019 Featured Artist

In 2013, Tim’s dad, Lewis Reid, bought a lathe and began making pens out of exotic woods. In the fall of 2013, Tim decided to turn a pen and found it to be as enjoyable as his dad did. In addition to a wide variety of pens, Tim now makes wine bottle stoppers, key rings, cork screws, styluses, ornamental bird houses, ice cream scoops, vegetable peelers, seam rippers, bottle openers, letter openers, pizza cutters, crochet hooks bracelet assists, magnet assists, and razors. He used both domestic woods and exotic woods from all over the world and also uses acrylics. Tim does his own dying and stabilizing of the various woods and also does his own laminating.

Hope you were able to visit Tim at the 2019 New Salem Mountain Festival along with many other vendors with the quality you have come to expect!
